What a day!

Ever have one of those days? I shouldn't complain, today hasn't really been that "bad", just a few bumps in the road. Here's my beef-I signed up to switch back to Verizon. Well, I've received 3 bills for 1 month with them, and recieved a bill from the old provider???? One of the bills was $171! HELLLOOOO!! After I was on hold for most of the conversation, I decided I'd call back later. What a pain....

Ok, gonna switch gears on ya-thought I'd put in some cure pictures of some of the kids. I am discovering that I don't take enough pictures of the older ones!

Ok, I keep hearing Dani looks just like Merrill, do you think so?

Great Quote

I was watching channel 63-yeah, I know, a little cheesy...Anyway, I heard this quote and I thought maybe you'd like it.

It is only in the fire you find out how great God is.

Maybe that is not a new concept to you, but if you're in the midst of the fire, sometimes it's nice to be reminded.

WISH BIG

More birthday pictures. We have the kids blowing bubbles with Katie's new bubble set.

This is Katie, with her cousins Brittany and Elizabeth.

Didn't I do a great job on the cake? NOT!! I tried doing Nick's cake for his birthday. After 2 times of it not coming out of the pan, we had cupcakes and a very frustrating start to the day. We decided that it was worth the money to buy the cake. And how could I compete with a DQ Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Blizzard Cake?>

The girls blowing out the candles! I think even Elizabeth got into it!

Here's Tayte and Nick "spearing" and shooting a homemade bow and arrow. I will spare you the pictures of the frogs they speared. Isn't that gross???? They actually brought them in the house! I think I need to read Dr. Dobson's Bringing Up Boys.

Here's Bev and Karen enjoying some relaxing conversation. And yes, Karen's cup is gently resting on our newest addition to the family!

All in all, I think it was a memorable occasion. Katie loves when her cousins come to play, she got some really great, thoughtful gifts, and she fell into bed exhausted. You can't get much better than that...

Alli is going to have a special 13th party with some friends. We can't decide on what to do. Smoothies at Seasons? A good movie? So, even though this party was for her too, she understands that Katie is 3 and I think she's ok with sharing the limelight.

I just wonder....

I've decided what this blog will NOT be. It will not be all smiles and life is always grand..now, don't take me wrong. Life is, for the most part, great. I have 4 healthy, wonderful kids. My husband is a hard worker, who loves his family. BUT....there are days like today, when my, newly turned 3 year old, has had 3 melt-downs by noon. I mean full-fledged, eyes dilated, melt-downs. Shew....that's when you go to what my grandma used to say. If they weren't "active", you'd think some thing was wrong with them. How true it is......
Here's the little sweetie lovin' on her dad. (don't tell her, but she has him wrapped around her little finger)
\
Now here's the "real life at the Frame's". One day I was taking pictures of Dani and Katie in their matching dresses. She got upset about something, Alli and were laughing as she was "being active"...here's the meltdown.

I love that little girl! She puts fire and laughter into everyday! And to be honest, there are times I wish I could stomp my feet and hide my face in the couch! Oh yeah, I have done that.....

I added anonymous

My dear computer savvy friend, LS, helped me to get the anonymous setting on this blog. So post away dear friends! But I'm wondering....will Rana BE ABLE TO REMEMBER TO LEAVE A COMMENT? Just a haha...I was just talking to her on the phone, and she asked Maty where her phone was..HELLOOOOO! Oh, if we could only get our brains back....I know a few of you can associate with that. Love ya Rana!
Will post later some more pictures!

I wanted to add...

I made a rather "flippant" statement about Alli helping with Dani....she is ALWAYS helping me out, one way or another. She's really a blessing to us. She sees things to do, even before I ask. So, I guess she can use my phone....hee hee, just kidding.....

A Rainy Day

Today Katie got a card and gift card from Aunt Charlotte. Well, the card had a crown that you could tear out. Little Miss liked that! Not to mention the "hundred dollars" that Papa Frame sent her! (cleverly disguised as a five dollar bill) Here is Katie with her birthday crown. Thanks Aunt Charlotte! You made her day!

I couldn't resist putting this picture of Katie loving on Nick. A very cute picture...but if you know them at all, you know it's not always hugs and love.

I have to include this one of Alli's favorite past times....talking on the phone. Oh well, she was helping with Dani, so I guess it's OK. :)

And what do the Frame's do on a rainy day? PLAY BASKETBALL, WHAT ELSE? It was kind of fun. Merrill cranked up the tunes and Merrill, Alli, and Katie played b-ball. We had to go in a few times, when it rained too hard, but it was relaxing. I would post the picture of Dani and I watching, but it was hideous. I took it myself and I was looking down, so you can really see my double chin.

I guess I have succeeded in doing what I wanted this Blog to do for me, I've taken a lot more pictures. There are so many more things I could write about our day, but it's late. See ya tomorrow!

My first blog!!

OK, I'm not completely sure why I am doing this. A couple thoughts come to mind. I want to take more pictures, so I think this will help. I have some family/friends that live out of the area, so they can see what the Crazy Frame's are doing. But I want to make a disclaimer-I have no idea what I'm doing, so bear with me!!!!

Here's the Birthday Girl! Katie is 3 years old today! Some of you may remember her birth story....

I had worked all day and was picking up fish from SAM'S on the way home. I had some doozy of contractions on the drive home, and even better! My water broke on the way out the door! So, I rushed home, we took the kids to some friends that were at the restaurant-which THANK YOU GOD THAT I STOPPED!! or we wouldn't have had anywhere for them to go. So, anywho-we took off for the hospital. Merrill thought he would drive 55-60, well, you know, you don't want to drive to fast while YOU'RE EATING! So, while I was dying/hyperventilating, I asked Mr. Frame if he could possibly DRIVE FASTER!? Well, he decided that maybe he should, since my contractions were going from 5 min. to 1 min. apart. I had called my midwife before I left, so she was already there. Good thing! As I was sitting, yes sitting, in a wheelchair, facing a bathroom, little Miss Hurry Up decided maybe we best hurry up! I delicately SCREAMED and the ER people decided they might hurry up and get me somewhere, which was the Emergency Room. The ER Dr. looked as though he might die. (I think he'd rather see a severed arm) Stephanie, aka the midwife, came running. She was just in time. Katie came about as quick as Stephanie walked in! We hadn't found out the sex of the baby yet, so Merrill's first words to me were "TOLD YOU SO!!" IT WAS A GIRL! 7 lbs. 6 oz. 20 1/2 in. long. What a sweetie. She has brought this family much joy. She's ornery, and sure can scream, but that stubborn spirit will get her far in this tough world.

She loves to sing, play outdoors, read, go to church, wear dresses, love on her baby sister, and loves to eat RONI CHEESE!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE!

Here's a picture with one of her favorite people! GRANDMA! They are great buddies.

Here we are getting ready to go get ice cream for Katie's birthday.
